Goldendoodle or Labradoodle?

COMPARISON BETWEEN LABRADOODLES AND GOLDENDOODLES

Goldendoodles are usually more friendly and enthusiastic with a happiness. Goldendoodles seem like they can never stop wagging their tails. Some Labradoodles are a bit more reserved and always need a "job" because they were originally bred as working dog.

Some Labradoodles are a bit more reserved than Goldendoodles but in a loyal way. Labradoodles are less likely than Goldendoodles to make as many new friends but they are extremely loyal to their families and are more energetic, hyper and playful dogs. In general a Goldendoodle is more quick to approach a complete stranger, whereas a Labradoodle will typically stay closer to his/her “person.”

Labradoodles are confident, dependable, fine being alone and by themselves and love to have a task or a job to handle versus the goldendoodle who is happy go luck and wants to be where you are, will do anything and everything that you want to do.

I tell people that Labradoodles are like your high school senior class president. Labradoodles are confident, dependable, and love to have a task to handle. Goldendoodles are a bit more like your high school senior class Mr. Personality (maybe even the class clown). Goldendoodles are like the guy who was always back-slapping, telling jokes, and the life of the party.

Labradoodles are known for their high energy and extreme loyalty. They are great for families with active lifestyles and outdoor activities. They also get along well with children and other dogs. On the other hand, Goldendoodles can be more laid-back and calm. They are better suited to families who prefer a quieter lifestyle but will still step up to the challenge of outdoor activities with the family. They are also great with kids and other pets and make excellent therapy dogs.

Here at Paddingtondoodles we only breed the Goldendoodle breed but we do have wonderful friends that breed the Labradoodle if that fits what you are looking for.
